Srbin je pobjedom u finalu protiv Stefanosa Cicipasa 3-0 došao do rekordne 22. Grend slem titule u karijeri, a nakon proslave sa porodicom i članovima svog tima sa trofejom je izašao ispred „Rod Lejver“ arene.
Nole je na taj način želio da se zahvali hiljadama srpskih navijača koji su mu boravak u Melburu učinili nezaboravnim.
